🚲 Bikes become the preferred mode of transport in Paris

The Institut Paris Région (IPR), tasked with regional urban planning and environmental matters, has released its inaugural GPS mobility survey (EMG). This effort was initiated by a coalition of fourteen public and private entities, such as the Île-de-France region, Île-de-France Mobilités, the four departments of the inner suburbs, the city of Paris, RATP, and SNCF. IPR's mission was to gather data to enhance understanding of the mobility patterns in Île-de-France eighteen months following the conclusion of the Covid-19 pandemic.
