Germany is once again turning the screw on the policy of mobility. The Central European country has introduced a new subscription-based travel pass that offers unlimited access to all city buses, subways, and trams in the country for a comfortable €49 per month. The ticket, known as the Deutschland-Ticket, includes local and regional trains but not intercity services, with the aim of encouraging people to take shorter journeys on public transport.
